Customer Update: Reopening and Resuming Installations
Following recent government updates and the easing of lockdown measures, we are looking ahead to how and when we can fully reopen Mirror Image.
We aim to resume installations from the 1st June, and all customers with existing bookings are being contacted to reschedule their dates. Until we can fully reopen our offices and showrooms we are operating on a skeleton staff, and so appreciate your patience as we contact each customer to find dates suitable for everyone's circumstances.
Installations would be booked ideally in the order they were previously scheduled, taking into account each customer's preferences. We understand that some of our customers may not feel comfortable in having us in their homes so soon and would therefore prefer to wait and we can accommodate this by scheduling a later installation date. At the time of the company shut down we had approximately 12 weeks’ worth of customer installations booked, which are now being rescheduled over the summer months.
We’d like to reassure all our customers that their safety and that of our staff is of the utmost importance to us. Before the company reopens, we are working to put appropriate safety measures in place to limit the spread of coronavirus. Any member of staff (including anyone in their household) who displays symptoms, however mild, will be made to self-isolate. We would also ask that our customers notify us in advance of their installations if they or anyone in their household are displaying symptoms and the job will be rescheduled accordingly.
In our factory where our wardrobes are manufactured, all staff will be issued with appropriate PPE and social distancing measures will be implemented. The fitting teams who will be installing your wardrobes will be provided with gloves, masks and hand sanitisers. We would appreciate it if you could allow them the facility to wash their hands whilst in your home and allow safe physical distancing measures as appropriate. In addition, upon completion of the job your wardrobes and furniture will be wiped clean with disinfectant.
While our showrooms remain closed to the public, we are able to open our offices in a limited capacity following strict government guidelines. This enables us to provide online quotations and design advice, and respond to customer queries. Whilst it is challenging for us to be able to visit customers homes to measure for new installations, it is not impossible and we will assess on a case by case basis whether we can accommodate home visits or will provide online quotes using customers own measurements and photos.
We are working hard to accommodate each of our customers needs and concerns whilst providing a safe work environment for our team and of course continuing to provide the highest quality of furniture and customer service. We appreciate feedback from our customers and ask for any concerns, suggestions or queries be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org
